So Dundas FC has a big soft spot for South Korea after watching their 1-1 draw with France at the 2006 World Cup at a packed sidewalk cafe in Toronto’s Little Korea neighbourhood. It was totally nutty. People were draped in red, tiny Korean ladies were screeching and screaming at absolutely anything that happened during the game and the cafe owner passed out some pretty sweet pastries at half-time.
South Korea has quite a tough group in South Africa, facing Argentina, Nigeria and Greece in Group B. Dundas FC has tickets to South Korea’s first-round clash against Argentina in Johannesburg and is looking forward to that one. Especially after watching this video.
